This is the short version, written to be read. We collect as little as possible and sell nothing.
What we collect
If you email us, we keep your email address and what you wrote so we can reply and do the work you asked for. If you fill in the form on this site, we keep what you typed so we can build your demo and get back to you.
The chat assistant
The chat bubble on this site is an AI assistant, not a person. It will tell you so if you ask.
When you chat with it, we keep your messages, its replies, the time, a session number, and your IP address. We keep those for 30 days, then they are deleted automatically. Nothing from the chat is kept longer than 30 days.
Please do not type anything private into the chat, like card numbers or health details. It is a sales assistant, not a secure channel. If you need to share something sensitive, email us instead.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run third-party ad trackers on this site.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits. It does not identify you personally.
If we ever send you an email you did not ask for, it will say who we are and include a working way to opt out. Ask once and you will never hear from us again.

Want your data deleted? Email hello@shoplightstudio.com and it is done within 10 business days.
